Pietra gray marble known as Shakespeare Marble international and Lashtar locally, is among the most known marbles in the word.

Pietra Gray Marble quarries which are located in south of Isfahan and they are very close to the city, therefore they have provided this possibility of being used in most of the monuments in Isfahan city.

Pietra Gray Marble has distinctive white veins, in different directions and thicknesses. As a result, this material is highly resistant, has very low water absorbent and beautiful look.
This characteristics make this marble a perfect choice to be installed as step and interior walls. The quarry had about 360,000 tons of capacity for the next 10 years.
Pietra Gray Marble  slab can be produced 2and 3 thickness. The use of Pietra gray marble for the faced of building is not recommended ,since it’s black color change to gray due to exposure to the disadvantages of dark veins that may be evacuated during the time destroys the beutiful look of stone.
